Rev. Michael Doby is married to D'Juna Doby and has 2 daughters (Brandy and Heidi), 2 sons (Dont'e and Evan), 1 grandson (Jackson) and 1 granddaughter (Asiah). He graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.

 

 

Rev. Doby was baptized at the age of 12 and has been a member of Carter for 22 years. He has held various positions in the church: Steward, Sunday school teacher, Special Event Chair - Men's Day & Pastor's Appreciation.  He was ordained as a Local Deacon in 2005.  

 

 

He is a decorated police office and a graduate of 2 Police Executive Management courses; Command Officers Development and Senior Management Institute for Police. In the community he is a member of the 4C Board of Directors & 4C Foundation Board where he also served as Past Vice President & President of 4C Board of Directors.

 

 

His favorite song is “Blessed Assurance" and favorite scripture is Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
