Rev. Charlotte Jackson
Missions
Rev. Charlotte Jackson is the oldest of three children born in Orlando, Florida to James and Katie Sims. She attended the public school system in Orlando and received her B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida (UCF).
Rev. Jackson accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and over the years has served in the Youth, Prison, and Women’s ministries. During the last 15 years Rev. Jackson was blessed to participate in several mission opportunities in Uganda, Ghana, Thailand, Philippines, Jamaica, Northern Ireland, El Salvador, South Korea, Haiti, and Nigeria. She believes it is the responsibility of every child of God to consistently seek to share the love of Christ so that all may come to know Him.
Rev. Jackson joined Carter Tabernacle in 2008 and later accepted her call to preach under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Vanessee J. Burns. She was licensed to preach by Presiding Elder Roscoe McKinney in 2009 and under the leadership of Bishop Teresa Snorton she was ordained Deacon in 2011.
Currently, Rev. Jackson works in the Orange County Public School System. She has one son, Josiah J. Jackson.
